Even though Rev. Terry Jones canceled his plan to burn Qurans Saturday, on the ninth anniversary of 9/11, at his Florida church, protests turned deadly in Afghanistan. Read the New York Times story here.
UPDATE: Jones is now iffy on his Koran burning plans. In a “Today” interview this morning, he had this to say about the Afghan violence. “We do not feel responsible,” Jones said in a live TV interview.
“Radical Islam is much more dangerous and violent and radical than we thought.”
“Islam is killing people.”
Jones contradicted himself in the interview abou this plans. At one point he said no burning will occur because he’ll be in New York meeting with the Park51 mosque imam. Then he started saying the burning was only suspended.
Confusing stuff.
Muslims are always looking for another reason to become violent. It is written in their “good” book!
Does appear that the muslims were already bent on becoming violent, no matter the outcome.
